Submit your medical history, medication list, allergies, treatment goals, preferred pharmacy, and clear photographs. Prior laboratory results and treatment records can also be uploaded when relevant.
During the 30-minute video visit, Dr. Shaikh will review the likely diagnosis, what you have tried, available treatment strategies, risks, alternatives, monitoring, and expected next steps.
You will receive a written treatment plan and prescriptions when clinically appropriate. Some treatments require laboratory testing, additional consent, program enrollment, or follow-up before they can begin.
After the consultation
Prescriptions are sent to your preferred pharmacy when clinically appropriate. Coverage and pharmacy processing vary by plan and prescription. Some medications may require additional documentation or prior authorization.
Some treatments require baseline or ongoing laboratory testing. Dr. Shaikh will explain which tests are recommended, why they are needed, and how results will be reviewed.
Follow-up intervals depend on your diagnosis and treatment. Recommended timing is included in your written plan so you know when to check in next.
If your concern needs a hands-on examination, a procedure, or urgent evaluation, Dr. Shaikh will say so directly and suggest an appropriate referral.
If telemedicine is not the right setting
Some concerns require dermoscopy, biopsy, examination by touch, procedures, or urgent in-person assessment. Dr. Shaikh may recommend an in-person clinician when video care cannot safely answer the question.
